Celebration Weekend - Part 2

Colin had a wonderful first birthday party at Meme and Pop Pop's house in Indiana. It was small (just family) but very special and fun. He had a bug theme (cute ones not scary ones).

I ordered a special shirt for him from Etsy

He had a bug cake (the bakery gave us a free smash cake!)

Meme had a banner made (with lady bugs)

A tentative first taste of cake (it took him awhile to figure out what to do with it!)


But before long he had the hang of it!

Meme and Pop Pop tricked out his wagon for his birthday - seat, umbrella, cupholder and quilt!

Thanks to everyone who helped to make Colin's first birthday so memorable. We will remember this great weekend forever!

    Ha ha, "pimp my wagon" should be a new show! Great planning and coordination on theme :) The cake eating pic is way cute.
