Since we found out that we are having a baby boy, we have definitely stepped up our search for the right name. We went through a couple of baby name books that were lent to us and came up with a list of about 20 names, some that we liked more than others but all were fairly good. At that point we decided to try and come up with a top 5. I wanted to do this independently so that I could really get a good feel for what Keith was thinking. Sometimes it is hard for me to tell how he really feels about a particular name. So we decided to each come up with our top 7 on our own in hopes that 5 or so would match out of those 7 and we'd have our joint top 5.
Well 6 out of our top 7 names matched! So now instead of having a top 5 we have a top 6. We've told our families these names and gotten feedback from a few friends too. So without further ado (and in no particular order):
Drew, Colin, Seth, Jonah, Milo, and Quincy
We'll try to narrow it down from here of course but for the time being I'm enjoying just having a good start. Feel free to leave your thoughts on these names!

Of course, I'm not the excited parents-to-be, but I'd say my top 3 of those 6 would be Colin, Seth and Jonah. That's great that you both matched up so well!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! I love hearing news of names. I'll agree with Steph on Jonah. I absolutely love that name. But, I like Drew and Milo. I can only imagine an adorable baby when I think of the name Milo. So cutie.
ReplyDeleteWhatever name you choose is going to be fine! I trust you to make good decisions. You do a good job of that considering you chose me to watch him! LOL If I were to pick I would pick Colin first then Drew. But then again you could see his face for the first time and choose something totally diferent! LOL Good Luck!
