T - 1 month

Only one more month until Colin turns one! But first let's remember his 11 month birthday. It was a very special one because his Okrzesik family was in town! Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Jeff, Uncle Todd, Aunt Heather and Olivia were all in town on Colin's 11 month birthday (more on all of that later). Because his aunts and uncles won't see him on his actual birthday, they gave him his birthday present early. Teddy and Colin posed in it for his 11 month photos. Check it out:

A few points to mention about Colin at 11 months.

• His tear duct issue miraculously cleared up after we went to see the eye doctor. It has been completely tear and goop free for over a month now! So no need for the procedure, hooray!
  
  
• Colin went through a bout of separation anxiety in the mornings this month where he would get upset or clingy when I left for work. But it already seems much better. Ms. Krystal is great at distracting him with something fun when I leave.
  
  
• Colin's top tooth appeared on 7/26. It's twin is getting ready to break through any second. That is tooth #3 and #4 for Colin.
  
  
• He is starting to fill out a bit. He's eating a lot these days and is even getting a little belly and his cheeks are coming back a bit.
  
  
• I'm filling out a little bit too! I'm down to three feedings a day with him now and have gained a couple of pounds back as a result. I'm still less than my pre-pregnancy weight but I have a feelings workouts are in my future again!
  
  
• Best of all, Colin started giving hugs this month. If you ask him for a hug, he'll lay his head down on your shoulder for a few seconds and relax. Not every time you ask, but sometimes. He also gives some without asking, especially in the early mornings or at bedtime. So sweet!

I can't believe my baby is going to be one next month!
