Happy 8 Month Birthday Colin!

That's right, Colin is 3/4 of a year old as of yesterday. And he started pulling up this week! Wow, what a big boy. He first started pulling up onto his knees and I figured it would be awhile before he got the hang of standing on both feet. I was wrong...he was pulling all the way up the very next day and yesterday when Ms. Krystal came in to get him after his afternoon nap, he was standing in his crib! Good thing we had lowered the mattress a few weeks ago. Next stop, cruising?

Colin went to the zoo yesterday with Ms. Krystal to see the new polar bear and brown bear exhibit there so it was a pretty special way to spend the day.

He's on three meals a day of solid foods now - all fruits, veggies, and cereals. Soon we'll introduce some more finger foods and dairy.

We can't believe it is already mid-May! Last weekend we had a nice visit with Colin's Grandpa and Grandma O who drove up to stay with us on Derby Day. We watched the big race and ate Derby pie...yum! We are all anxiously awaiting the arrival of Colin's cousin Peanut any day now!
