Colin went to his first Easter egg hunt this afternoon! Normally I wouldn't have taken him at such a young age because he had no idea what was going on and obviously he can't pick up eggs yet. But this hunt was for our neighborhood and I'm the social chair so I had to go and help set up and "hide" the eggs. Hiding consisted of throwing the eggs into the big grassy field but the kids loved it. We had a good turn out, the weather was perfect (after it snowed two inches Thursday night it was sunny and mild today), and it was over quickly and painlessly. I think Colin enjoyed watching all of the other kiddos and attempting to chew on a plastic egg or two.

Get ready, get set! The kids line up to take off for the hunt. Keith and Colin stand by in the background.

Oh, oh, I think Colin has spotted one!

What is this pink spotted contraption?
