One Last Run and Nursery Photos

This weekend my parents came up for a short visit. We spent the weekend just hanging out with them and with my sister and nephews. It is very exciting to know that the next time they drive up here, it will be to meet Colin! After they left today, Keith and I took stock of the items left on our registry along with a list of items we knew we needed to buy but we didn't register for (for whatever reason). We made a big master list and drove to Babies R Us for one final run before Colin arrives. We ended up making quite a few purchases, most of which we were able to cover with various gift cards which was nice!

We got another car seat base for the Accord, another Sleep Sack (fleece), another Swaddle Wrap (flannel), a drying rack for bottles, another bottle and some nipples, a dishwasher caddy for washing small things like pacifiers and bottle lids, a hamper, a mattress pad, some long-sleeved onesies, a mirror so we can see Colin in the carseat, gas drops, a travel case for wipes, carbon filters for the diaper pail, and a sound machine that makes womb sounds among others. Whew, that was a pretty long list!

The nursery is all done now too so I thought I'd post the pictures. I think the only thing we really have left to do is pack our bag for the hospital. It's hard to believe that all of our many baby to-do lists have boiled down to just that!
