36 Weeks and Counting

It's time for a new belly photo and a doctor's update. I had my 36 week appointment on Thursday. It went well - pretty uneventful. I am now going once a week. Colin's heartbeat is staying steady and strong at 150 beats per minute. I've gained about 25 pounds at this point. I asked Lyndsay the midwife if she could tell how big Colin was. She said that it would only be a guess but that judging just by looking at me she figured Colin to be an "average" sized baby so a little over 6 pounds right now and somewhere around 7.5 pounds at birth. Later when she was feeling my stomach, she said that he felt a little bigger than she originally thought and guessed him closer to 8 pounds at birth. She said he was a very active baby and that was a great thing

So everything is moving along as expected. Less than 4 weeks now till my due date and 3 more weeks of work (my last day will be September 4 if I make it that long). I am still feeling pretty energetic and good. Speaking of, I need to go take my walk before it gets too hot! Enjoy the photos!
