Fall Fun in IN

We went to Indiana last weekend to see some friends and family.  Our good friend Jodi Martin flew in from Folsom, California, and stayed with our other old Intel friends Anne and Mark and their two kids who now live in New Albany, IN.  We drove down Thursday morning and went to Grandma and Grandpa O's house. After lunch and a failed attempt at napping for the girls, we went to Joe Huber's family farm and pumpkin patch and then had dinner at the restaurant there.  Can anyone say YUM to friend biscuits, apple butter and chicken and dumplings?? Well Colin said yum to the chicken and dumplings.  Keith and I may have sampled a dumpling but definitely no chicken!  It was a gorgeous day and our kids all had a blast there.

Here are a few pictures from our visit with Anne, Mark, Jodi and the kids.  It was a gorgeous day and we ate lunch and then hung out on their nice new patio and watched the kids play.  It was even warm enough to get the sprinkler going.  The girls even took a 2 hour nap in their youngest son Jake's bedroom.  Hooray for that!

That night we headed out for dinner at the River City Winery in New Albany and then to Harvest Homecoming which is an annual fall festival in New Albany.  We took in some live music and had some local beers.  It was great seeing everyone and getting to spend quality time with old friends.

On Saturday we headed to my parents' house to stay with them for a night.  Uncle Bub and Aunt Jenny joined us and brought pizza and garlic knots...YUM!  It was another gorgeous day and we enjoyed spending time outside again.  Check it out.

Pop Pop beefed up his ride-behind contraption for Colin this time.  He's got an inner tube on top of a saucer sled.  Colin LOVED it!
