So Much to be Thankful For!

The girls' first Thanksgiving was a nice one.  With only the two of them to pack up, we were out the door by 8:30 AM on Wednesday on our way to Southern Indiana.  It was joyful reunion with Colin when we got to Grandma and Grandpa's for all three of us (oh and I think Julia and Caroline were happy to see their big brother too).  It was a great 4 night stay - we ate good food, saw lots of family and friends and everyone stayed healthy and slept well.  What more could you ask for?  Oh how about great weather?  Check!  On Thanksgiving Day it was warm enough for Colin to be outside without a jacket.  He and Olivia got to work up an appetite outside before we ate our big meal around 1:30 PM.  We rounded out the night with a viewing of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles which is the second or third year of this new tradition.  One tradition I didn't partake in this year was Black Friday shopping.  My heart just wasn't in it this year.  Since the stores keep opening earlier and earlier it just seems to take the fun out of it.  Here are some pictures from our trip.
Julia is thankful for her teether toy.
Caroline is thankful for her turkey bib.

Another kids' table!  This time at the home of Keith's childhood friend Reed McKinley.  Another family of good friends were there too.
