One Line or Two?: A Play in Two Acts

**Inspired by true events from the night of 10/04/2011**

Act I

Me: No lines! What is no lines?!
Keith: I don't think you held the tip down in the cup far enough.
Me: No way. The tip was totally saturated.
Keith: It must just be a dud. I guess that's what you get when you buy Kroger brand.
Me: Well, I didn't expect that! And that was our last one.
Keith: Do you want me to go to the store and get more?
Me: Hmmmm, well yes, if you don't mind. I was looking forward to knowing one way or the other tonight. You can just run to Walgreen's.
Keith: I think I'll go to Kroger. That way I can do self-checkout. At Walgreen's I'll have to interact with an actual person.
Me: Good idea. Oh and if you're going to Kroger, get some milk and cheese while you're at it.

Act II

Keith: OK, I got this brand. It was only fifty cents more than Kroger brand.
Me: Great, thanks.
Keith: See, the directions say that you have to immerse the entire tip.
Me: Maybe I did screw it up last time! Wow, I didn't think you could really screw it up.

**A five minute break**

Me: Is that two lines?
Keith: That second line is really faint.
Me: Yeah, but the first line is the pregnant line. And it is really dark.
Keith: OK, so I think that is two lines. Is that two lines?
Me: It is definitely two lines.
Keith: Yeah, I think you're right.
Me: It's official! Here we go again!

**Laugh, high-five, hug**

So that's it, that's the story! I am pregnant and Colin is going to be a big brother! I'm due on June 5th which makes me a little over 10 weeks along. I'm feeling really well and have had an easy pregnancy so far.

Oh yes, and one more thing....we're having identical twins!
