Zap Gun Fun

We registered on Saturday at Babies-R-Us! We brought my sister along which was a HUGE help (thanks Nancy!) She really kept us on track and focused - no hemming and hawing wondering if we needed this or that and how many. She helped us answer those questions every time! She and I had prepared a list prior to Saturday of all the items that we still needed to register for after going through everything that she had given to us so that definitely helped us move faster.

We had about two hours to spend in the store and we got through pretty much everything in those two hours. We may go back and add a few things here or there but we definitely hit all of the necessities. The only exception is a stroller...we originally registered for one but second-guessed our selection once we got home. We are doing more online research and consulting friends (thanks Erin!) before we make our final selection at the store. The nice thing is that we can edit our registry now online - add things, remove things, update quantities. And Babies-R-Us gives you coupons and gift cards when you register, not to mention a free gift of an Avent bottle and pacifier. Overall, it was a fun and relatively stress-free experience!
