Gobble, Gobble

We went to Indiana for Thanksgiving like we always do.  It was a full house at Keith's parents' house on Thanksgiving night as you can tell from this picture:

Six grandkids and Colin is the oldest (in the matching shirts Grandma made)
Needless to say it got pretty wild and crazy at times so we occasionally broke out:
The magical iPad
It was a busy four days.  We did some Black Thursday shopping on Thanksgiving night, leaving the house after the annual viewing of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.  It really wasn't all that crowded at Kohl's or Target (the only 2 stores we went to that night) but I was a little too tired to remember what I needed or think clearly about good deals!

The three "big kids" at the kid table.
We visited Keith's friends on Friday as has become the tradition for the last several years.  That was fun as always.  Especially since one of his friends moved into the subdivision by his parents.  Talk about convenient! We spent the last two nights at my parents' house and got to visit with Uncle Bub and Aunt Jenny.  I love Thanksgiving.  Too bad our great visit ended with Julia getting sick on our drive back (about 1.5 hours into 4 hour drive).  That was Sunday and just when we were starting to think maybe no one else was going to come down with the same bug, Caroline got sick Friday night followed by Colin on Saturday evening.   Now Keith and I are just waiting to see who will fall first.

  1. Oh, no! I'm so sorry to hear that Caroline and Colin caught it, too. I really hope that you and Keith are spared.

    Those matching outfits are amazing!

  2. Sorry to hear about the stomach bug. :( Hoping you don't get it either.

I love those matching t-shirts. They are so cute!
